Elizabeth Avery Portrait

Elizabeth Avery, a Boston native, received her Master of Science degree in Applied Physiology & Nutrition from Columbia University. Over the past fifteen years, she has worked in a variety of settings, including teaching hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, health clubs, and non-profit organizations. Her specialties include sports, oncology, cardiovascular and general wellness nutrition, as well as weight management, IBS, and nutrition support (enteral and parenteral nutrition). A sports enthusiast, Elizabeth has competed in more than 35 road races, numerous marathons, rowing regattas, tennis and volleyball tournaments, and an Olympic-distance triathlon. Whether it is for weight change, disease management, or athletic performance optimization, she will help you make simple changes that result in permanent solutions.
